Vocoder World

We’re celebrating 12 years of Bitwig with Vocoder World, a free package dedicated to Bitwig’s powerful Vocoder device. Playful and deep in equal measure, these 35 presets aren’t just about classic robot voices. Sure, you get plenty of ways to twist and color vocals, both iconic and novel. But there are also presets for creatively transforming beats, pads, and any other sound source you might dare to try. To get started, drag a preset onto a track with audio, then send notes to the track (from a separate instrument track or inside the same hybrid track). There are also playable instrument presets included (marked INST). Drop these onto an instrument track to hear them working right away.

Launch Bitwig Studio and open the Dashboard (by clicking the Bitwig icon at the top of the window). Select the Packages tab, then click the Install button beside “Vocoder World.” 

For Bitwig Producer and Essentials users: Search for 'Vocoder' in the pop-up browser after installing the Vocoder World package to access all presets in Player Mode.

Vocoder World is a free sound package for Bitwig Studio, Producer, and Essentials users (6.0 or later) with an active Upgrade Plan.
