Superbooth Berlin is Coming May 7–9

Bitwig-event_2605_Superbooth
We're excited to be back at Superbooth, Berlin's favorite gathering for electronic music and modular gear. It’s running May 7–9 at the FEZ Center, and you'll find us at our usual leafy outside spot: tent Z105. Stop by for a chat, get hands-on with Bitwig Studio 6, and explore how Bitwig Connect brings software and hardware together.

We're also running two free workshops hosted by revered multi-instrumentalist, producer, emcee, and Bitwig Certified Trainer, Thavius Beck. They’ll take place in the Workshop Room in the main building. Attendance is on a first come, first served basis.

Creative Composition with Bitwig Studio 6
Thursday, May 7, 15:30–16:30
In this session, Thavius will present the new features and workflow enhancements in Bitwig Studio 6, including upgraded automation and automation clips, clip aliases, key signature support, and new editing tools. These features build on an already formidable and flexible foundation, so the workshop will give insight into many of the little things that make Bitwig Studio unique.

Building a Performance System in Bitwig Studio
Friday, May 8, 13:30–14:30
In this workshop, Thavius will demonstrate how to integrate a song composed in Bitwig Studio into a larger live performance project. He’ll cover CV integration using Bitwig Connect, flexible parameter mapping using Project and Track Remotes, alternative clip launch settings, creative use of the crossfader, and how to easily MIDI map or create custom shortcuts to navigate the set. Finally, the new song will be added to a bigger show set. By the end, you’ll know how to turn your music productions into a compelling live performance.

In case you missed it: At last year’s Superbooth, Bitwig's own Dave Linnenbank hosted a special live edition of Modular Concepts walking through three different approaches to patching. Watch the video here to get in the Superbooth mood.

See you in the Bitwig tent under the trees!
