Brazilian Percussion Sound Packages
Bitwig has released two sound packages exploring the rhythms and timbres of Brazilian percussion. Each package features recorded material from fifteen instruments, including staples like the snare and conga, sizzling shaker and cabasa, the unique twang of the berimbau, and the resonant udu. The two packages can be used individually to breathe life into your beats – or combined for extra creative possibilities.

Percussão is a premium sound package featuring over 800 one shots, assembled into 25 Drum Machine presets by artist and sound designer Bill Robin. Some presets come with multisampled and round-robin versions for an extra lifelike feel, while dozens of additional note clips offer rhythmic inspiration. Brazilian Percussion Loops is a free package for all Bitwig users with an active Upgrade Plan. It contains over 460 audio loops, fills, and rolls, which are richly swung and edited for seamless looping and slicing. It’s available to download now from the Package Manager inside Bitwig.
