Renn is an electronic musician, sound designer, a member of PRE and DAWLESS Tea House, and an instructor at Analog Landing. HHe works primarily with hardware as his main creative tool, exploring the integration of ethnic music and low-frequency electronic music. By sampling and reinterpreting traditional and ethnic music from around the world, he incorporates diverse cultural sounds into his own work.
His practice spans audiovisual works, advertising and film soundtracks, theatrical productions, and art performances.
