Noh Yoomi

Yoomi has contributed to a range of interdisciplinary projects, including reimagining Korean ritual performances through electronic instrumentation and collaborating on AI-based composition research with a leading South Korean game company’s Music AI team. Her diverse interests reflect a deep commitment to innovation, both artistically and technically.
Currently teaching electronic and film music at the college level, she inspires students to approach technology not just as a tool, but as an expressive medium. Her educational philosophy emphasizes experimentation and the integration of sound into broader artistic narratives.
Artistically, Yoomi is driven by a fascination with transforming noise into tone and everyday sound into meaning. Her work blurs the boundaries between music, sound, and environment, aiming to redefine the listening experience.
