Kostas Richter

Growing up in Athens, he discovered his passion for sound while DJing, organizing events, and performing as a synth player. He studied Electronic Music Production and Audio Engineering at SAE Athens while gaining early professional experience as an FOH engineer, sound designer for short films, and electronic music producer.
In 2014, Kostas moved to Berlin, earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Audio Production from SAE Berlin, and worked as FOH engineer in various venues, including the Deutsches Theater Berlin. In 2018, he joined Richie Hawtin’s team as tour manager, studio manager, and backliner, supporting international live performances and studio productions. During this period, he became a Bitwig Certified Trainer, providing advanced expertise in the DAW for both live and studio workflows. He has co-owned studios in Broken Bell and Riverside Studios in Berlin and collaborated with artists such as Plastikman, Hector Oaks, and Chronis.
Through years of touring and collaboration, Kostas developed a deep understanding of what makes music resonate with live audiences. He has helped artists bring their creative visions to life, shaping the technical side of their performances to make each moment come alive. Today he focuses on studio work, education, and consulting, helping artists and aspiring producers shape their sound, optimize live performance setups, and navigate studio design. Kostas approaches sound as both a craft and a language - one that connects people across spaces and cultures. His goal is to provide artists with the tools to transform sound into experience, emotion, and connection.
