Announcing Bitwig Studio 2.1

A month after releasing Bitwig Studio 2 to the world, and in time for our third birthday, we're proud to present the first update.

With Bitwig Studio 2.1, we bring a number of fixes and improvements, along with some great new features and devices.

MIDI Clock Sync

MIDI clock sync functionality lets you sync up Bitwig Studio 2.1 to software and hardware clocks. You can now let your hardware sequencer control the Bitwig Studio clock and transport, or sync Bitwig Studio to other software, or indeed run two instances of Bitwig Studio in perfect sync.

Amp

Inject a bit of virtual analog grit into your sounds with the new Amp device, a remarkable piece of amplifier-simulation technology. The Amp consists of pre and post sections with individual EQs, a drive section with 8 drive types and a cabinet simulation offering advanced cabinet, coloring and mix settings.

New Sound Package: Irrupt Eurorack

Discover “Irrupt Eurorack”, an exciting sound package created by Irrupt, which displays the ease and accessibility of Bitwig Studio’s workflow - and showcases the unbelievable sounds created by Irrupt’s team of mad musical scientists.

Get inspired with modular made sounds including an awesome array of bass and melodic loops, plus 5 unique drum machine kits with modular drum one-shots. All sounds have been created with professional production and performance in mind, just like you’d expect from Irrupt and Bitwig.
