Nel 2022 mi sono trasferito a Buenos Aires. Ho lavorato come assistente presso lo studio Siesta del Fauno, dove ho frequentato i loro corsi di sintesi. Nel 2025 ho completato la Diplomatura Superior in Composizione di Musica per Videogiochi presso la Universidad Nacional de las Artes. Nello stesso anno ho frequentato i corsi dell'eclettico compositore bonaerense Mauro de Maria. Dal 2023 insegno teoria musicale e produzione musicale presso la scuola Otoha di Córdoba (Arg.). Elia Grassi began playing guitar as a child and later studied jazz piano and composition in Italy, where he was born and raised. He has always been obsessed with music theory and analysis, from pop to classical.
In 2022, Elia moved to Buenos Aires. There, he worked as an assistant at Siesta del Fauno studio and attended their synthesis courses. In 2025 he completed a Diplomatura Superior in Video Game Music Composition at Universidad Nacional de las Artes, and he attended courses by the eclectic Buenos Aires-based composer Mauro de Maria. Since 2023 he has taught music theory and music production at Otoha School in Córdoba, Argentina. He also teaches online at eliagrassi.com.
Elia fell in love with Bitwig because it thinks like he does — seeing composition and sound design as a single creative process.
