Syork is a multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and educator who is constantly exploring the boundaries of sound. His musical approach transcends genre, but he specializes in blending funk, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, EDM, and bass music. He also crafts a unique sonic identity through dynamic live sets with a wide array of gear and hardware.
He has conducted production and live-performance workshops at prestigious institutions including the Communication University of China, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Shanghai Music Fair, Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, and Zhejiang University of Media and Communications.
Syork’s professional roles include:
- Keyboardist and producer for The Narrator band
- Faculty member at Upchord of Music’s Electronic Music Department
- Official performance artist for MOTU, Nektar, and sE Electronics
- Electronic music lecturer for the talent development program at Shanghai Theatre Academy.
