While drum and bass remains his home turf, his musical interests span the wider world of bass music, including jungle, garage, dubstep, halftime, and breakbeat. As a DJ, he has played alongside artists such as Chase & Status, Bou, Sub Focus, and Friction, while his productions have been released on Space Pirate Recordings and BXL Underground.
A long-time Bitwig user, Gobs particularly enjoys sound design and modular synthesis. His favorite way to lose track of time is disappearing into Poly Grid for several hours in pursuit of the perfect bass patch. His productions combine detailed sound design with high-energy arrangements and occasionally explore themes close to his heart, including environmental and social justice.
As a Bitwig Certified Trainer, he wishes to teach free group classes covering the fundamentals of Bitwig Studio and help new users get comfortable with the software while sharing some of the techniques, workflows, and creative possibilities that made him fall in love with it in the first place.
