Bitwig Studio demo included in Qiana Studio

May 20, 2016

We're very happy to announce that the Bitwig Studio demo is included in Qiana Studio, a Linux distribution designed for audio and video work, based on Mint 17.

Qiana Studio was released just recently, and it normally does not include commercial software, but the people behind the project made an exception for us, which makes us extra proud!

So what does that mean for you? Well, if you're new to Linux this is an excellent chance to give it a try. Qiana Studio can be installed and booted from a DVD or USB-stick, meaning you can temporary turn your computer into a Linux system, without it interfering with your harddrive, files and drivers. Neat!

There are instructions on how to do this, along with everything else you need to know of Qiana Studio, on the project website:

That's not all: The people behind the project are giving away 50 Bitwig 8-Track licenses, so run over to their site, register and you'll have a chance to win!
