In Solidarity

Bitwig GmbH is a company based in Germany, but we are an international group of people who believe in our shared humanity and dignity.

The contribution of Black culture to music is undeniable, as is the fact that injustice anywhere cannot be tolerated. So we are joining with our friends around the globe today to kneel in solidarity with those on the front lines of change.

Like many of you, we are reflecting on the change we’d like to see and be and how we can support anti-racist community work locally and internationally.

Update June 3, 2020

Today marks the start of our summer sale. This year, we will be donating all proceeds from one day of the sale to these two groups:

The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, founded by Thurgood Marshall in 1940, seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.
 
ReachOut is a counseling center for victims of right-wing, racist, and anti-Semitic violence in Berlin, Germany, providing support to victims and intercultural education programs.
For our donation, we are taking all purchases made during this sale period and dividing by the number of days that the sale runs for. Half of that total will be donated to each organization listed above.
